PRODUCTION

The Production Team at College Ave exists to remove distractions and create an environment where the gospel is clearly received. Production residents will be trained in audio, video, lighting, and broadcast to support Sunday mornings, midweek gatherings, and events. We use technology as a tool that helps people encounter God’s Word.

Pastoral ministry is focused on the training and development it takes to become a Senior Pastor or a church leader. This includes preaching and teaching, sitting in on board meetings, and pastoral care – weddings, funerals, and life events.

Pastoral ministry

preschool

College Ave Preschool is a weekday educational program for children ages 2–5 that offers Christ-centered learning through nurturing teachers, Bible stories, social interaction, classroom activities, and multi-sensory play. Our mission is to provide quality Christian education while connecting preschool families to the wider ministries of College Ave—partnering with parents to help raise up the next generation of faithful Christ-followers. Residents serve throughout the week by assisting teachers in the classroom, engaging and playing with children, and supporting hands-on learning through projects and lessons. They work closely with the Preschool Director in daily operations and ministry planning, help coordinate seasonal events, and assist with organizing monthly preschool chapels. Residents also participate in fundraising initiatives that help expand the preschool’s mission. This role provides experience in early childhood education, leadership development, and children’s ministry within a weekday setting.

kids ministry

KIDS Ministry residency at College Ave means being a part of the team – fully immersed in all of the duties of KIDS Ministry as children come to know and grow in Christ. You will learn how to make Sunday mornings and mid-week programs run while thinking of the children's physical, emotional, and spiritual development. You will gain experience with curriculum planning at all age levels, prepare classes for Sundays and events, and run classes with kids from ages 0-11 years old. This includes hosting and small groups, introducing new families to the ministry, learning safety protocols and cleanliness standards, planning and decorating for holidays and special monthly themes, helping with volunteer recruitment and development, as well as preparing for baby/child dedications.

middle SCHOOL

Middle School Residents learn what it is like to help run a Middle School Ministry. They get a peek behind the curtain of what it takes to plan and run program, create and cultivate community with students and volunteers and create a place where middle school students can meet Jesus, experience His presence, and grow in their faith.

HIGH SCHOOL

High school ministry is focused on equipping students not only to know Jesus, but to follow Him wholeheartedly, in all aspects of life. As a member of our high school team, you'll have an opportunity to impact students through weekly youth group gatherings, high school lunch clubs, small group discussions, and a whole lot more!
